When war breaks out in Lebanon, Shaden, a young filmmaker living in Paris, begins to record her screen obsessively: Instagram stories, WhatsApp messages, news fragments, and silences. A Few Moments of Happiness gathers these traces into a visual diary of exile, where digital images become both a refuge and a wound. Between numbness and tenderness, the film explores what it means to watch one’s homeland collapse through a screen, and how even in the midst of devastation, dreams persist.
